No - the front bearing is in the transaxle so the armature isn't supported when the motor is removed.

Each battery is 8.0 or 8.1 even with pedal down

So the motor could be good ,I backed the motor enough I could see the shaft inside and hit the pedal looked like the motor moved alittle but shaft didn't,if I hold down the pedal down the motor tries but then stops

There's something melted on the fins both ends of the motor looks like gray jBweld or lead ? Balance maybe? Boggered up?
