Re: Club car precedent
I'm thinking about trying the Kingzilla lift from ebay for about $350

Re: Club car precedent
I just bought a 2013 Precedent that has a MJFX lift on it. Looking it over they never replaced the rear springs when they added the rear seats. The springs are flat now, but I have a set of dual-action springs to put on.IMG_20220320_113740.jpg

Re: Club car precedent
I just received my ProFormX 6" lift yesterday. I didn't realize before I read the directions that you have to have a 12" to 14" wheel for clearance. I was going to put the 10" wheels back on for now until I find nicer wheels. Also, I've decided to order the heavy duty rear springs before installing the lift. From what I've read, I'm going to need them for any size passenger on the back. The only thing I need to find out right now is if a 23" tall tire will give me any rubbing issues?

Re: Club car precedent
A 23” tire will rub with stock springs.
The rub occurs on side hills , not normal flat driving. You can get rid if the rub by trimming the plastic tire well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Club car precedent
Well I got the lift kit installed and the 10" wheels and 18" tires fit fine. Don't know why the lift kit directions said only 12 to 14 wheels fit, but not true. I put the 23" tires on last night and have no rubbing issues at all. I put fender flares on, so if I ever do experience a rub, I'll be able to trim the factory fender )
