Re: Lithium Golf Cart Fire
Yeah still can’t figure out how I missed it, got the recommendation from another guy I’ll leave the rest😂
Still my mistake I’m not going to blame anyone else, shouldn’t have been in such a big hurry when I ordered it should’ve taken my time. |

Re: Lithium Golf Cart Fire
Chelmuth, thank you for all your posts ( and everyone else). Again I am sorry for your loss those things suck. My friends ( LEOS both he and his wife) just lost everything but clothes on their back literally when a receptacle failed in his house. First the insurance co tried to blame the golf cart in the garage but the fire investigator proved insurance company so wrong it was pitiful.
I appreciate all your points as I just did an Allied conversion on my cart. I did a 3 battery (48v each) on board BMS and did a smart charger all based on direction from Don at Plowmans. He is a WEALTH of knowledge. Again appreciate learning from all you guys. I know a lot about electricity and electronics but this battery thing ( not being a chemist or physicist ) can be daunting. All the best in recovery. |
