Default Rear end oil

As I check more stuff on my cart checked the rear end and found it dry put about 10 oz in how do you check the level the manual calls for 8-10 oz
when put a long screw driver in and shows about 3/4 inch. Does that sound right ?

There is a check plug about half way up transaxle....
fill until fluid comes out check plug.

That is different from my cart mine is a Dana. The fill is on the top has a cover on the bottom like a car has on the back

Mine only has a fill plug on the back of the case the manual says there is a shop tool for checking it but can't find one any where
