You are correct, Sir!
I won't make that mistake again.

Thanks for all the insight, Mac.

I later removed the baffles in there but that made no difference so left them in there to remove dust/leaves. I used a torch tip cleaner to file the jet out, if you take it loose and install hand tight you can remove the jet in the cart repeatedly and jet it. Now I have a jet drill kit they are cheap too. It is slightly noisier.
I might try this too! I don't mind the added noise. Altho, my neighbors might! HA! No, seriously, there is so much junk hanging off the intake to that carb, it's crazy. I imagine that most of it is to make the cart quiet for a golf course.

I wish I could find the thread, again, that I saw a while back. The OP had a picture of his cart with a K&N filter hoseclamped right to the intake of the carb. I remember seeing it, but I'll be darned if I can find it again. I need to get a little smarter before I try to attempt that.

No worries, G1-G9 and Mac have me covered for that. I'll just pony up and get the right part.

Thanks for the help and insight.
Much appreciated.

Sounds like you've got a handle on this! Tom just helped me get my G8 going with a new/used solenoid. Just a bit of advice - Get the cart running perfectly stock, before you start any mods. That way, you have a good platform to run from. I've done some mods on my g8, that I had to take back to stock, cause it ran like crap.

Great advice! Mac offered the same advice. I am going to keep at it. Thanks for the help.

You can put a K&N on the carb if you want, long as you jet it. I didn't because there is lots of dirt where I am at and that big filter is much nicer. It seemed only the silencer that hangs off the box is what was restrictive to the stock engine. It was not much louder I only noticed because I was so used to the cart.
