Looking at a 2009 Yamaha 48V
found a 2009 Yamaha 48V Golf Cart that has a Lift Kit and aftermarket Tires on it. it looks a little rough but nothing is wrong with it, they bought a NEW one and selling this one off. NO BATTERIES are included, so that adds another $600-800 to the expense to get it running. He is Asking $900
It is stored outside and shows it. Looking a the pictures, trying to figure out WHAT is in the center of the floor ? is that connected to the pedal or what is it supposed to be ?? Also looking at a 2008 Club Car w/ Kawasaki Gas Engine |

Re: Looking at a 2009 Yamaha 48V
Here is info on the Club Car...
Been reading on here for a while, and been looking around at golf carts to pick one up for general use, mainly few times a year for volunteer meets to shuttle people around. I am in the local Antique Car Club here and we hold a few meets a year, and i usually borrow one from someone else to do this, but I am about done with my Antique Restoration so time to get one and not have to borrow one anymore. plus i can mod it tweak it and enjoy it how i want. Looking around found one locally that is a 2008 Club Car DS with a Kawasaki Engine. Assume it is the Fe290. Looks to be in good shape, looks like it is stored outside. engine bay is dirty and the cart is covered in leaves. looks like no cracks in body or roof, no rips or tears in seat that i can see. guy just did a tune up on it, new filters, plugs, oil, oil filter etc. standard white color. He is asking $2000 for it. Below are some pictures he sent me, let me know what you think. Looks like it has been taken care of, and since it is a Club Car assume it has the Aluminum Frame so no rusting there. |

Re: Looking at a 2009 Yamaha 48V
I can tell you that the Yamaha is not a 2009! 2009 would make it a g29 which it is not. Possibly a G22.

Did Not know that, any way to validate year ??
Maybe a serial number or model number somewhere on it i can have them get for me ? Is the Accelerator Pedal supposed to be like that, looks like a Mod or User Fix ?? |

Re: Looking at a 2009 Yamaha 48V
The pics tell me the Yamaha is a G22 year range 2003-2007. Don't know what all the funny business is on the floor. Serial number would be on a sticker with a barcode at the driver's side glove box area. 4th character of the serial number will indicate year. 4th number of "0" indicates 2003, "1" is a 2004, "2" is a 2005, and so on.

Re: Looking at a 2009 Yamaha 48V
assume that is NOT factory pedal ?? looks like the whole assembly is on the floorboard, assume it should be under with ONLY the pedal above as normally seen.
is the brake assembly pedal factory ?? asked the owner to send me serial number for validation |

Re: Looking at a 2009 Yamaha 48V
Looking closer at it looks like a homemade pedal and mechanism. and a hole in the floor at the rear to link it up.
