Campground makes me insure cart for liability, insurance company needs to know horsepower to insure it. Cart is a 2000 EZGO TXT with a 295 Robins motor in it. Can you help me out with what horspower this engine provides? Thanks!

Re: HP question
Check the nameplate rating and use the wattage. 1 HP = 746watts x .8 effeciency factor. So if the nameplate is say 1700 watts, then (1700/746) x .8 = 1.8 HP
