Default Lift Kit or Suspension Issue

Hello All,

New member here!

I just got a used 09 CC Precedent. It needs a bit of work and TLC but the price was really good.

Having an issue with the suspension/alignment/lift kit (not sure where to start).

Ride is really wobbly and turning you can feel the cart jerking. Took a look at the front end and noticed that the lift kit seems to be a bit off. I've attached pics. The one side is about an inch lower than the other. Almost as if it's bent.

No repair shops relatively close to me so I was hoping someone might see something in the pics.

Thanks!

You can't adjust toe on a spindle kit.

Can you get a picture of the whole front end to have a better view? I can't tell if anything looks bent from those pics.

But if it feels jerky when turning you might need to check the sterring knuckle.

Why can’t you? Just adjust the tie rod ends like they do in real cars

I'm confused by this statement. Wouldn't the toe in be adjusted using the adjustment of the tie rods? I'm not experienced with spindle lift kits but I've never seen a cart you couldn't adjust the toe in on. I could see where the camber might not be able to be adjusted on this type of lift but I'm no expert on carts.

If you want to be happy just replace that POS spindle lift with a A-Arm lift. The new lift kit will replace the entire frontend. Except for the steering box,

Thanks all for the advice.

I'm so excited to start modding this cart!!

Thanks again!!

I'm with Walter on this, get rid of the Jakes spindle junk and get an All Sports kit. You'll never be satisfied with the Jakes. Turning radius basically doubles with Jake spindle lifts.

Only negative with All Sports is the significant wait period right now. I ordered mine about a month ago through Revolution and it hasn't shipped yet. It's ok, I'd rather wait 6 weeks for a US made product that you can purchase individual parts for if you damage something later, than hurry up and get a China product.

In the mean-time, you should be able to adjust the toe via the tie rod ends...not sure why you wouldn't be able to.

Oops... you're right; I meant camber can't be adjusted, not toe on a spindle lift.
