It wasn't too difficult to wire it the first time, and I'd rather it done right than have problems with it.

Thanks for your help guys, I'll post here when I get it rewired and hopefully it will be good news!

By the way, this place is great! I've learned a lot about my motorcycle on a couple of different forums and it looks like this is the place for info for my new cart!

I HAVE LIGHTS, I HAVE LIGHTS!!!

DOOmsman, Thanks for that link! I've saved it just in case I decide to add any other acc.

I went to the store and got some 12 gauge wire, 20 amp fuse, and a new battery terminal (bolt on one of the stock ones was corroded and I broke it) and rewired everything and I now have lights, and they stay working even when driving :)

you find that on a search, or have you been here? I don't have enough money for the Blue Heron! I'm more of a small local bar kinda guy anyway. And I have a soft spot in my heart for them establishments with ladies working their way thru college!

Horny Toad? I did like that place. They changed hands last year, I'm not sure what it's called now. I heard they are renovating the whole thing.

I agree with these guys.
But I would run a new circut, fused with a 20 amp and run at least 14 gage wire. When you get that working right, your gona want tail lights also. If you run everything on one fuse, if that fuse blows, the car stops running. Separate the circuts, so you know where to look if there is a problem.

When running fuse block I find its easyer to trace down problems if you use a differnt color wire for each of the add on's.
