ez go marathon 3pg predetonation
I just rebuilt a ezgo marathon 3pg 244cc robin engine and I now have some predetonation when running at higher RPMs and am wondering what direction to adjust the crank sensor. I had marked it when removed and it starts and runs, but has a miss/knock/backfire when at full throttle/RPM. I know it doesn't need to move much, but since I have to remove the engine to get the flywheel back off to adjust the timing, I would only like to do it once. The flywheel spins clockwise, so I just need to know which direction to adjust 9clockwise or counter clockwise. Thanks for any help folks...
