Default Battery for gas cart

What is the battery everyone is running in their gas ezgo cart I would like to use the one that fits in the slot from the factory, Does optima have one like that or will I have to cut out the metal that makes up the battery slot to fit a bigger battery?

I just bought a battery for mine last week and it was a 26 series I believe. I know my optima out of my camaro would not fit as it was to long plus it doesnt have the lip for the factory clamp to hold the battery in place.

70 Series is the original and some carts can use the 75 series ... it is about 1 inch longer, same width & height.

Bought a Deka here at Wholesale Batteries, what EZGO uses OEM with the bolt on terminals. (no messing around)

Stovebolt where did u get your lift? I have been trying to find a lift for my cart and not sure which one to get. I have the same cart that you have and love the way yours looks. I also like the height that you have.

It was a round tube 7" dropped axle kit (came with 1" spring risers) I think LA Concepts carried them, I bought the lift, tires and wheels slightly used from another member here, but with the 26s it rubbed on the brake peddle on tight left turns when you hit the brakes. I think 25s would have worked.

Also mine was an ST, on a 1200 you will have to be creative lifting the rear. Never tried it but always thought an electric lift would be the way to go on a 1200.
