Default High Altitude carb question?

I am new here and this looks like the place to be for an answer. I have a EZGO 1992. It has a Makuni carb and I was wondering if you can adjust this for high altitude or change jetting. I live at 9000' altitude. At our old house, 1000', it ran fine but at this altitude I have lost a lot of power. Thanks

It will need a smaller main jet
and perhaps some clutch mods.
We put lighter weights in the drive clutch with sleds.

Where can you get the jets? I'm not having luck searching the net.

Not much is going to increase your power at high altitude.
Decreasing the jet size just reduces the fuel going in so it will run leaner but with no more power.
The only way to get more power at altitude is a larger carb allowing more cfm intake or turbocharging.

True you will have a power loss at altitude without turboing or other mods.
However proper jetting will get all thats availible. The clutch mods will allow the engine to spin up to the rpms needed to run right.
check shade tree parts if our sponsors can't help with the jets.

Good points DOOmsman! Then there's always the NO2 nitrous solution.
