Jake's lifts

I STOPPED AT A LOCAL CART SHOP TODAY TO GET THEIR OPINION ON A FEW THINGS. I AM WANTING TO GO WITH A JAKE'S 6" SPINDLE LIFT,BUT THE GUY AT THE SHOP TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO GO WITH THE DROP AXLE,HE SAYS THE SPINDLE LIFTS LOOK STUPID WITH THE LONG SPINDLES AND THAT THE SPINDLES MOVE THE FRONT END FORWARD. HE ALSO SAID THAT I WOULD NEED SPACERS FOR THE REAR.I DON'T PLAN ON DOING ANY MAJOR OFF ROADING, AND I LIKE THE SIMPLICTY OF THE SPINDLE LIFT. I ALSO MENTIONED THAT I WAS INSTALLING A NEW CONTROLLER AND HE TOLD ME THAT I DID NOT NEED TO,ALL I NEEDED TO DO WAS TO INSTALL A DIFFERENT MOTOR(WHICH I PLAN ON HAVING PQ REDO ANYWAY).I ALSO MENTIONED THE 48V CONVERSION AND HE TOLD ME IT WAS A WASTE,36V WAS ENOUGH AND ALL I WOULD GET WAS MORE TORQUE. ,LITTLE TO SAY,I LEFT, NOW HERE I AM

Now you know the only reason to talk with that guy would be to teach him something about golf carts

.....and just in case you speak to your local guy again.... Tell him that the Jake's Spindle lift moves the hubs forward and out for increased stability and tire clearance. Ask him if his drop axle can do that

You don't NEED spacers for the rear, but you will like how they make the cart look. 2" per side is good, I think that will match the width with the front almost perfectly.

Get the billet spacer not the cheesy little individual stud extenders
