Default Changing lifted EZGO back to stock?

I have a friend who bought an '03 EZGO with a lift kit and wants to convert it back to stock...It looks like the only thing done to it was to install drop axle spindles and changed the rear springs to go above the axle instead of below. I've never done something like this before. It looks like the only thing that needs to be done is replace the drop axle spindles with stock ones and return the rear springs to below the axle. Could this be correct, or is there anything else that would have had to be done to complete the lift ( about 5" )? It doesn't look like the steering or anything else was changed. I can't find another '03 to compare it with...As always, your help is appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you can find somebody here who is willing to trade you straight across parts for parts to restore the cart..

For the back, there's probably a lift block between the axle and springs that you'll remove when you flip the axle back to above the springs, and the mounting bolts might need swapped back to stock.

For the front, I think you're correct. Stock spindles should be the only thing you need.

Its no problem to change back. I just put a lift under my 2004 EZ GO. You will need a set of stock spindles to go back in the front and take the spacer blocks out of the back. You will also need a set of u-bolts for the springs in the back.If you need a set of stock spindles and u-bolts let me know, I still have the stock spindles out of my EZ GO.

We'd definately be interested in a trade...ITP aluminum wheels, 22 x 11.00-10 well worn Carlisle Turf Master tires, flares, and any other left over parts....We also need stock chrome or aluminum wheels and tires...

Your best bet would to find somebody who wants a to lift their cart for the price of some hefty shipping fees. Or better yet somebody who lives close enough to deliver the goods and pick up yours...
I would do it if I was close

I'll second the "hefty shipping fees"....phew. Like Scottyb said though, if you could find someone locally that would be willing to swap parts for parts, that would be a win win. (Especially for the guy with the stock cart)
