Default Exhaust manifold seal?

Is there a substitute for these. I need two really bad but I do not want to order them. Can I use RTV sealant or somthing similar?

RTV will just blow out (and rather quickly) - the right gaskets are only a couple of $, best to do it right

You should be able to pick this up just about anywhere.

It's all I use anymore on the headers for my drag cars.

Cats, I had a similiar problem with my 90 Marathon, I had a piece of the old gasket and went to the local auto parts place (not one of the chains a real auto parts place) He had a book and he was able to find an exhaust gasket the size of mine, but he did not have in stock. What he did have was a sheet of the metal gasket material, I think 12"x36" for $10 bucks and some change. I marked it out and drilled out the holes and used a dremel for the center hole. It seems to work very well, no leaks.
