What is this thing?
Need some help, I have an opportunity to buy this cart VERY cheap but I have no idea what year or model it is. It is gas powered but the engine is blown and I can't find any serial or model numbers anywhere. If I can find out what year and model it would help me figure out if the motor out of my 2001 G16 will work in it so I then have the excuse to buy a big block for the G16. I'm sure I would also want to put a lift kit and tires on it but if it's to old to have some off the shelf parts available I may not mess with it.

Re: What is this thing?
definatly a G1...and your engine will work in it if you change the rear end as well. the G1 runs the stock engine backward for reverse wich you cant do with a 4 stroke.

Re: What is this thing?
Thanks for the information, after a quick search through a few of the sponsors sites I see that a lift kit or big block is not going to be an easy task for this cart. I may still buy it but may just see if I can find an engine for it and then sell it to buy one that accessories are a little more readily available for.

Re: What is this thing?
These are easy to rebuild, and pretty cheap being 2 stroke

Re: What is this thing?
Any direction you all could point me in to finding a replacement engine, I just found out it doesn't have an engine in it?

Re: What is this thing?
You can get a normal lift for it. Engine is pretty cheap to deal with, they are old/loud/stinky but otherwise a nice durable and somewhat fast cart to run around.

Re: What is this thing?
Loud/stinky compared to a 4 stroke, I don't mind them and they are quieter than about any ATV. Lot of them have ratty clutches that rattle too I ran some new ones and they were fairly quiet except the exhaust bubbles a little. I spotted one here but don't have the play cash yet, if its even for sale.
