Should valves be adjusted hot or cold ?
04 txt gas.Im hearing to diffrent storys,what do you think ?

I would say cold!! I could be wrong but from my experiance with air cooled engines they were all adjusted cold.

It's cold. That's the reason you adjust with a gap. As the valve stems heat up they expand and close the gap. If it were hot then the engine would gradually cool down as you were working and they would be all different.
