G1 Looses power fast
Old Yamaha G1 gas. If we charge it all nite, the cart will run for about 30 or 40 minutes. The governor has been bypassed. I think the generator may be suspect? The clutch also makes a metal clapping sound at first movement but quiets quickly. Any thoughts about the old bucket?

Re: G1 Looses power fast
Hook a volt meter to the battery and check the voltage when running to see if it is charging.
the clapping sound maybe a worn weight flopping around you will have to open it and look see. see the stickies at the top of the yamaha section. http://yamahagolfcar.com/partsandservice/default.aspx# |
