Default G2 Transmission - major prevenetive maintenance

Currently, I have seals and a case gasket ordered. My plan is to disassemble, remove governor, clean/inspect bearings and reassemble. Please give me any heads up that come to mind.

Thank You, Trent

I took mine apart on page 399, in the "g8 Club". better go read it first. Did you get both axle seals and the input shaft seal?

Thought my governer might be coming apart, because it was making a metallic noise. Ended up being just loose shock bolts and suspension parts loose from not going back, and retightening bolts and such from the build. But gave me the opportunity to do a quick polish job on the case!!

LOL!! Don't you just love it? Rebuild the engine and it ends up being the spark plug.

Boy, you know it Sprid! If you only knew how many times I tore into some major component only to find some small unrelated item being the problem!

We had a '93 Camry that the wife drove. We took it to the dealership under warranty for a clunking noise in the front. They replaced the motor mounts and while driving it home I heard the same clunk. I later found a can of air freshener rolling around under the seat.
