New key switch has 4 lugs
I just bought a new key switch and it says its for a cc 96+. I have a 96 DS series. My old one has 2 lugs, this has 4. Any ideas why? I checked continuity and 2 are closed with key on, other 2 with it off.
Also, I can't seem to get it very tight. It rotates a little when I turn the key. Thanks |

Re: New key switch has 4 lugs
The manual showed how to tighten it up. Just pull of the plastic cover that sits on the outside of the dash panel and grab a 1 inch socket to tighten the nut.
Yes, the 4 lug is for a gas cart. I screwed up my order but it's not worth 2 more shipping cost's to get the correct one. So now I have a couple of extra lugs for..... |
