$5 LED voltmeter installed in 2005 precedent
I just install a cheep volt meter in my 2005 precedent!!!
I wired it to a toggle switch under the dash so I can have it on or off at any time. votmeter $5 toggle switch $3 total $8 what voltage are you guys recharging your carts at? it's a 48 volt cart with six 8 volt trojan T-875 batteries. pic shows voltage after full charge. thanks! |

Crash is right, the cheap meters are not sealed, so don't get them wet!
The Powerdrive chargers will check the pack every 15 days and recharge as needed, so it's not really a tender... |

I have the same cheapass meter on my cart. Had it on for two years and never had a problem. I wash the cart and I drive in the rain when I have no choice and it has never let me down. I also installed a digital cheapo thermometer for the same price.
If I was to do it again, I would buy a quality meter that I could read in bright daylight. I still get compliments on my Chinese made junk one though. |
