Really? thought it would be CCW since your number is so close to mine. Now we gotta figure its 97 or newer. Hopefully someone else can chime in on this and help you out.

Oooooo, just remembered you might have it in reverse, so turn the shifter all the way CCW and that will put you in forward drive.

Remember that they are geared lower in reverse,so if you turn it Ccw and it turns the axle Cw,compare that to the amount it turns when you shift it while still rotating it Ccw at clutch.Hope this helps.

OK, not a CC guy but I went and played with it. I noticed the passenger side was not turning so figured this may cause an issue, finally got the drum off and it has been sitting for some time minus one screwdriver

With what I believe to be the shifter has three positions, the last one being no turning of the axle at all, but it always seemed to be turning cw for both the shaft and axles, if I turned the shaft CCW the axles went backwards dunno??? Remember I do not have a cart to hook this too....

Remember too, that a club car has the clutch on the pass.side of the cart, opposite of the others.

my wife wants me to do gear swap instead......
but i want a cc axle first, then do a gear swap!!!

on the down side, if i pick this axle up and it turns out to be a clockwise rotation, the fight would be on!! months and months of i told ya so......
but you bouhjt it anyway!!! did you even listen to me????? nooooooooo....
then i would have to buy the wife somthing, just to get her to let it go

LH, there are really only 2 styles of CC/Kawi gasser trans axles,

The 85 to 96 are a 2 stage type, transmission on the top, and differential on the bottom, and they are counter clockwise only!
The 97 to date, are a "unitized" transaxle and they are clockwise rotation!

Here's a side pic of my "unitized" clockwise trans axle:

Yours doesn't look anything like mine, it looks just like my buddies 94,
so it's a good guess that it's a pre-96 counter clockwise trans axle!
