Club car limp mode
I have a club that is having issues. It's a 2003 club car iq. New battery's It has a plum quick bandit motor, 4G wires, Stock controller and solenoid. when going forward it goes in to limp mode. If I go in reverse or flip the switch while in reverse it goes back to normal until I stop and go again then it's back in limp mode. Here is the tricky part. I've had it in two different 2003 club cars and it does it in both. Could it be the controllers are not powerful enough for a plum quick or solenoid issue. Or maybe I got a bad motor?

Re: Club car limp mode
Sounds like a speed sensor issue. Try to push the cart with it in run and no parking brake. It should make a beeping sound and show resistance. If not, you have a bad speed sensor

Re: Club car limp mode
My guess is a loose connection somewhere.

Re: Club car limp mode
Just for kicks, if you have an extra speed sensor, I'd throw it in to see if there is a difference.

Going to try switching the speed sensor from my other cart this weekend. Any one think it could be the motor?

Re: Club car limp mode
I doubt it is. If it is anything else, I'd think it might be the MCOR
