Re: Where are the Carryall guys?
First of all, you guys are a wealth of information and advice! I am new here as I recently picked up a pair of Carryall 472's from my son's work. The plaque under the dash says the date of manufacture is 2005. They both are key start and have Kawasaki FE400 motors. Clutches are missing on both. One is definitely a re-power candidate (probably a 13hp Predator) but the other may be able to be brought back to life. Both have 4 seats and a dump bed. My plans are to get them both operable and buy/fab a rear facing seat to install in place of the bed, maybe changeable. I haven't seen any 472's anywhere else but I like what I've seen so far. They have brakes on all 4 wheels and locking rear differentials. If anyone is interested I'll post some pictures and update you as my plans evolve and my education about carts progresses.

Re: Where are the Carryall guys?
Take the original intake hose to a parts store like napa and find a radiator hose with a couple bends in it that will allow it to reach the filter box without getting crimped. Get screw type hose clamps to fit the ends. Works great and it’s usually cheaper than buying a new OEM intake hose.

Re: Where are the Carryall guys?
I was wondering if anyone ever cut off the square bed and tried to fab on a stock DS body. I’m sure anything is possible but just wondering if anyone has attempted it.
Thanks |

Re: Where are the Carryall guys?
Heres mine, 92 Carry2, the day I got it and almost finished. Came with the engine out and in a box with another box of "extra parts" Has a Lifan 15 now and 6" lift with 22's and Chevette airshocks. Then my friend got a 2500lb winch, so I had to get a 3500lb winch.... Just finishing details. Wish the previous owner didn't find a great sale on black spray paint. Might make a little short flatbed with a back seat, already have a dump trailer.

Re: Where are the Carryall guys?
Theres really no point in doing so. At that point you might as well just go buy a DS. For all the work involved it wouldn't be worth the time and effort and you would ruin a perfectly good carryall
