Rxv 48v vs Gas Motor on hills
Looking to purchase a 2013 or newer RXV 48v. Not finding many in my area. There are several Gas models available. Can someone tell me the performance differences between the 48V & Gas RXV's? Main concerns is the ability's to climb hills.

Re: Rxv 48v vs Gas Motor on hills
Stock vs stock… Gas carts do way better on hills than electric. The Kawasaki in the RXV is a strong motor, bigger than the one in my club car. And that cart would climb the steepest hill I could find and accelerate up it, even on 25” tires. The strongest electric cart I’ve had would still lose speed up that hill, it’s was gnarly.
You can upgrade to a high amp controller, torque motor and etc in an electric cart and make them climb quite well, not arguing that. But stock cart vs stock cart an electric won’t be able to touch a gas one. I’ve had many of both (and currently own an electric)… |
