2003 txt battery problem
It is a 36 volt. I can ride for about 10 mins and It will go dead. I am very stupid when it comes to these. I did test about an hour after riding and all batteries were between 6.1 and 6.3 with an overall of 37.5. I checked all the battery connections and corrosion and we were good. Any suggestions. I am thinking new batteries, just got the cart and do not know how old the batteries are

Re: 2003 txt battery problem
Likely one or more of the batteries are dropping a lot in voltage under load. What brand are they? Is the cart old or newer? Manufacture code form the ID tag available? We really have little to go on here

Re: 2003 txt battery problem
The negative post of the trojan will give you the year. It will be a letter and number. EX: A7 is a January 2007 battery.
interstate usually has a sticker with the same info. "sometimes" you can read them. I have seen controllers do this also. the thermal shut down switch will activate and shut cart down. Only repalcement here is a new controller. also is there any mods done to this cart - lift, big wheels/tires, rear seat, what size battery cables. |

Re: 2003 txt battery problem
Yes, that could be the problem!
As batteries age their ability to make & store amperage diminishes ... |

Re: 2003 txt battery problem
I charged the batteries today and at full charge were showing 37.5 volts. While driving it will steady out at about 28.1 after 7mins of driving on a flat surface and it will die at about 10 mins. When I park it it will show 34 volts on the battery. I am thinking batteries but just want to make sure
