Default Bicycle Headlight

Hey guys,

I was thinking about a cheap way to put some light on my old marathon without having to actually wire something up into my system. Has anyone ever tried mounting one of those bicycle headlights onto the front roof supports?

Looking at it I really don't see how it wouldn't work unless the vibration would tear up the mount, but if it's designed for a bike I would think it would work.

This is what I found, says it's waterproof, 1200 Lumen, and comes with an external rechargeable battery pack:

Should work. As long as you don't exceed the lights range with the speed of the cart. 1200 lumens is a bit more a 75 watt bulb. I would think it should be good for about 50 to 60 feet of projection. Maybe more if the construction is right.

A bike has a rougher ride than your cart. That light will work fine. Better test it to see how long it lasts before you go out cruising at night!

Alright cool deal. Wow I didn't think about the speed vs visibility thing, but if I'm using the headlight ill probably be toodling real slow around the ranch. And I will make sure to test the battery life before I embark on a long adventure.

Thanks for the insight guys
