Non lifted cart wheel/tire size
Can anyone tell me if I can run a 12" wheel with low profile tires on an 06' Precedent? My biggest concern is rubbing. Also, would I be able to use the same wheel with bigger tires if I added a lift kit later on?
Here is the wheel/tire.... http://www.trademarkcarts.com/golf-c...ii-tires/56702 |

Re: Non lifted cart wheel/tire size
A couple of companies make a special offset for the Precedent's. With that size tire, you probably wont have much of an issue, but let someone that drives a Precedent chime in.

Re: Non lifted cart wheel/tire size
Thank you. I bought the Precedent for my Wife and wanted to "spruce" it up a bit. I now have a new hobbie/obsession. She is now convinced that I bought it for me.

Should I have posted this on a different board? "On Road Golf Cart" board? I'm still feeling my way around, bear with me.

You can eliminate the rub by slightly sanding that area down, or you can make a slight adjustment to your tie rod ends. However it may not even rub. Here are a couple of our carts with the 12" tire package. |

Re: Non lifted cart wheel/tire size
See my sig for my wheels. They have a Minus 40mm offset and rub in a hard RIGHT turn on the wire hump inside the right wheel well. Simple 5 minute fix with a Drexel. Cut off the external hump. The internal wire channel remains intact and does not rub. The wires remain protected.
