G2 yamaha engine back firing
removed head and had valves and guides redone .Also had one of my mechanics remove side cover to re seal engine. runs but starts hard and spits sputters out carb doesnt seem to have good power.if the cam is off a tooth will engine still run and the balancer gear does it matter how it goes in?any picture or specs to be sure gears are alined right thanks for help Woody

Valve clearance set to tight mine did the same
