Default How to lower roof height

Hey guys just joined the dark side and got a lifted icon i60l. Love it. Only problem is it doesn’t fit in my garage. With minimum tinkering I figure the back of the roof is fairly easy to drop just remove the bolt cut the post and drill a new hole. How do I lower the front supports? I’ve seen shorter for sale but issue is what to do with the windshield.

Anyone ever lower a roof and have insight for me? No lowering the tire pressure won’t work

involves cutting though.

I’ve seen those but the icon back posts are thicker posts

Is that really what the roof lowering kits look like? The dealer said they could lower the roof if needed but didn't explain how.

If that was the solution, I'd pass.

I've seen were you can buy shorter front roof supports, then cut the rears.

That is how I assumed the lowering kits worked.

Have you tried adjusting your garage door opener? I had to adjust mine so it went above the header panel. I have about 1.5 inches of clearance now.

I found this link:
https://advancedev.net/product/icon-...roof-supports/

That sells shorter front supports. Then cut the back 4".

Only problem with the 4” lower front post what do I do to adjust my windshield? It’s fairly tight with no space right now pre lowering?
