Unless there is something special about that motor it should be rated at least 6000 RPM.

If it can do 5500 rpms then I am going to install it. I can't understand why they would say 3250...

Found this on D & D site for the motor you're mentioned:

Performance Spec's ▲
Vehicle Speed : 18-21

Torque Enhancement : +70 %

Motor RPM : 4850

Peak HP : 8.9

I'm not an expert for DC motors but, i'd guess this is a high torque, not high speed
motor.

Ojo, yes I have seen that. I will say that D&D have said several different specs for this motor. What is tge risk in setting my RPMs to 5500 in the Alltrax software?

Can't give a recommendation, i saw different specs but with different motor no. There is a 7hp@3250 rpms as well. Description always less speed, more torque.

Well I installed it. I guess I will overspeed it up to 5000 rpms. What's the worst that could happen?

Unless it's very strange construction, it should handle 6000 RPM like most other motors this size.
