Default RXV wiring harness upgrade questions

So I bought the 618955 harness. Mostly plug and play except for two issues that have me stumped.
First snag there's no 9 wire plug for under the cup holder and it's tied into the old harness. Does it just get removed?
Second issue is there's two wires coming out of the plug for the controller that go into the pictured oval connectors and from there off into the old harness in two directions. Pedals and motor.
I didn't do the Curtis conversation so no idea if the orange and white wires where added then. There not zip tied to the rest of that bundle.

Anyone have any insight or experience to share?KIMG0963.jpg

Thanks Jeff. I looked at it again and saw the supplied plug goes into the controller and not the old two place block so that solves issue two.

There is no nine pin connector or run plug on this harness. Hook it up and see what happens or contact Country Cat?KIMG0964.jpg

Here is a picture of that wiring harness 618955. Clearly showing the nine pin connector and the run plug.

I need advice guys... I purchased a new motor for my 2008 RXV from Country Cat, a new Navitas controller and Im at the end of my rope with this cart... I want to replace the main harness and need to know what issues I am going to have trying to make this run?
I am not opposed to buying a known GOOD used harness, but this 'plug n play' nonsense is killing me. I have the electrical schematics, the manual and am very proficient with a multimeter and tools. Any help would be appreciated- the Gremlins with this cart is going to be the death of me...

Not sure what Navitas you ordered but they do make a direct RXV Danaher replacement that is plug and play. I've done two at the campground this week. No issues at all. What is wrong with your original harness ?

Update for posterity. The 618955 harness is the way to go if you've gone from the Danaher to the Curtis 350 amp controller. The only thing not plug and play was the 4 wire plug going to the motor, I spliced the plug from the old harness in. There is also no run plug going to the cup holder in the new harness, 9 less wires and no sonic welds to worry about.

Kirk, thanks for getting back with us on that information. I wonder when this took effect? You would think that the part number would have changed.

Just to clarify something Kirk has a bearing encoder in his cart is why he had to redo his plug. All Curtis RXV wiring harnesses have speed sensors only some of the Danaher harnesses had bearing encoders. If you have a speed sensor it's all plug and play.

Thanks for the info. Any good places to find the 618955 harness?

Country Cat is a little cheaper than EZGO if it's in stock. I had a search notification on Epay for a year and none came up for sale. Just over five bills with tax and shipping but no more ghost in my machine. Knock on wood.
