Default 2 inch lift for CC Tempo?

Hi gang!

Could use some help, when my family get on my cart it lowers a lot and ends up burning up my tires. When I look online for a lift kit options I only see 3”, 4“ or 6 “ and when I bought my cart without a lift kit because I wanted to keep a comfortable ride and a cart that I didn’t have to climb up into. Do any of you have any idea if there’s a small lift I can use to keep my tires from rubbing or any other options you recommend? I’ve attached a photo of my cart. Thanks for any advice you can give.

This one fit the tempo?

Also, would this be better than madjax 4” king lift as it relates to the ride?

The precedent and Tempo are the same cart under the skin so should be fine.

If you have single rear leaf springs, dual action springs might be an alterhative. They typically have three spring that will raise the rear maybe 3/4", they stiffen up under load so won't compress as much as a single spring when you have rear seat passengers.

Yeah I agree with Dave. You really need heavy duty rear springs anyway if your carrying more than about 2 people. My HD springs have 4.

To clarify-Dave suggested using dual action springs. They are different than HD and do not have as harsh of a ride.

Thanks guys! I’ll go with the heavy duty springs first and if that doesn’t cut it, I’ll do MJ king 4”.

@cleanupman16 -- thanks for posting this because I am having the same problem and needed a solution that won't lift too much.

It sounds like for the smoothest ride, the dual action will be better than HD, is that correct?

Is there a specific brand/store that is recommended? I have jack stands, lift etc -- is it pretty straightforward?
