Schauer battery maintainer 48V
Just picked up a Schauer battery maintainer because after October my Icon i40L will be covered and garaged until next year.
The directions state "cart may be put in "tow" mode to avoid any load on the batteries" I just want to understand that on the 3 position switch "OFF" is considered tow mode. Z |

Re: Schauer battery maintainer 48V
I would have thought tow mode releases the brake, which requires power. The middle position should be off.

In order to tow an ICON EV the switch user the seat must be in the "MANUAL EMB" mode. I know this because I required a tow once.
