Some pictures

The first 3 pictures are of one cart with the cleanest engine.
This is the one the lawnmower guys told me they can't get to run anymore.

The last picture is the cart thats been sitting at dad's farm and is now at my place.
Note those fine looking, partially eaten acorns left by the pack rats.

If you look carefully, you can see the bungee cords holding the airbox together.

One other note here. I parted out my G14 engine for $900 on Ebay. Don't overlook the value of these early 4 stroke yamaha parts in good condition.

Give me a few months to get my monies saved up and I'll have both engines checked so we can be sure about what you are getting when I part it out. Promise I will keep you in the loop

I'm about ready to start this project on the first cart.

Is this an appropriate engine?

And then a chat with vegascarts

Last week they were on sale for 259, also at the home depot online site. Yes they still are on sale at HD online. That is the 420 in my cart, I did both a stock one and hopped up one. The stock one has a lot of power, certainly more than stock. Its got 5-6 years on it and still going strong with daily use in the summer. I did another in 2012 and just took that one out and putting a cam and rod in it now. Dang I have two G9 engines that ran fine just smoked, I should dig them out and sell them or the parts lol! Don't think I will use them again, I was going to rebuild one and find a cart with a bad motor to put it in, but if I did I would put a 460 in it and keep it lol.

And they ship them right to your door for free. The lifan is a quality engine.

I feel like ready, fire, aim.

Yes I ordered the two engines... keying off the price and having them shipped for free.

But wait...
That is a recoil engine ... not an electric start. Wellll fudge bucket.

So after the engines arrive, I'll return them to the local home depot and buy two engines that are electric start.

This is just too funny for words.

Also, vegascarts offered to set me up with the 'rest' of what I need for only $400+ per cart...

So I'm checking to see what I need and see what I can make myself from left over metal I've got around here. Then only spend on the items I really can't make myself.

Can you tell I'm distracted with life's other problems?

Use the S/G from the stocker which is the recommended way to go and all is good.
