Default Charger Wiring Questions

1) Is it better to charge through the BMS, or charge directly on the battery?

2) Can the battery stay connected to the controller and motor while being charged?

Default Re: Charger Wiring Questions

Yes and Yes. You need to charge through the BMS - so that it can terminate charge if any cells get to their max voltage before the charger shuts off. You can leave the battery connected when charging - just like with FLA batteries.
