![]() I'm getting two sets of complaints on our Club Car Precedent
1) Kids are complaining about seat belts are squeezing them too much in the back seat. In order to be able to flip the rear deck I have to keep the belt attachment points pointed kinda high, so it puts the lap belt on their belly/waist instead of their hips. Truth be told, the front belts aren't very comfortable either but we rarely use them. 2) Fiance is complaining about the front bench seats not being comfortable enough, whether she's driving or riding. She's in awesome shape but has some back issues that the seats aren't helping. I'm unsure as to what I currently have for seats or belts since I bought the cart already built, so pictures below. ![]() ![]() |

![]() A few things I would recommend.
First on the rear seat- if you attach the female side on the outsides of the seat, meaning both retractable belts are pulled from the inside to the outside in both seats, the female ends can be left lower and the rear seat can fold with no issues. I just spent an hour messing with the same issues and this helped 10 fold regarding the same 2 complaints. As for the front seat, what part bothers her? I had a major Neck surgery, and I am not happy with the angle of the front seats back rest, my DS was more comfortable for me. I believe different rear seats have different backrest supports which changes the feel. |

![]() As for the squeezing, I agree. I have gotten used to it. They sell non retractable belts, but then you have seat belts dangling. I would try placing a "stopper" to help, maybe a zip tie or heavy rubberband etc.

I ordered the clips, and I'm going to try swapping the belts. Will also help with the dangling belts off the side, I think. |
