Default Need lockable storage under precedent rear seat

I have a precedent, with a madjax rear flip seat. I am looking for somekind of storage box, case, tub, something that i can secure under the flip seat, in the bagwell, to lock a camera in while going inside for awhile??

This rear seat does not have the cutout in it like some seats do, solid deack, flip seat.

Something that i can attach in that rear opening, and lock.

Anyone with ideas or even better a solution?

I bolted a stainless toolbox in the bagwell of my ds under "bed". keeps my often used tools safe=not lost and dry. I don't lock it but you could.

I like Dundees idea. Bolt a steel toolbox in the bagwell and lock it in there.

Here's a homemade solution: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...l-storage.html

Maybe the rear locking trunk from the Onward. Kind of pricey.

I don't have a pic but I made one for my EZGO that has a flip seat. I found a kitchen trash can that fit in the bag well under the seat and cut out a "door" in the cargo deck panel under the seat just above the trash can. Mine was a plastic material and cut easy with a circular and jug saw. Put a stainless hinge on it and a flush lock and you have your locking bin. Paint the trash can black and most won't even know it is there. It will actually hold a lot of stuff. I store a compressor, tow strap, tie downs and various other cart related stuff.

I don't have this model, but I do own a "handgun" safe. This browning unit https://www.midwayusa.com/product/10...0-pistol-vault would seem big enough to fit your camera....even with a longer lens attached.

These can be bolted to the bottom of your bagwell, and they have a code that you choose for quick access. (Code via finger buttons. Such as "Press 3-3-2" and it opens.

Just a thought.

I made simple locking rear trunk for a CC DS was pretty simple and and works great ..used 12"x24"x 1/4" (.250") Black ABS Plastic Sheet w Textured Front, 10 inch piano hinge, 3/8 outside diameter cylinder lock, piece of angle aluminum, and some small screws and rivets . All told was about $35.00. Used a Rubbermaid storage bin measured cut out for inside. PM if want links to the items ordered.

Rear view pic

will post more this week when finished, it should hold 20 beers with ice and will have drain in bottom with hose diverted into motor area to drain on the ground
when painted totally black in installed in deck know one will obviously notice is my hopes and intentions, still have more work to do like flat locks to take place of hasp/ latches now
When seat is folded up seat cushion should cover and only visible with seat down/ cargo might even cover with thin rubber mat
I hope this might inspire more designs. Thanks Capthook
