Default Does this sound like a bad MCOR?

2017 CC Precedent - New batteries stock motor and controller. All of sudden when I press the accelerator all the way to the floor, the cart speed drops to a crawl. I can get full speed (and maintain it) when I stop pressing the accelerator at about 3/4 - but once past that mark, the speed just drops. Replaced the speed sensor and no difference in the symptoms at all.

(When I was replacing the speed sensor, I really thought I had found the problem - the magnet had a crack running through it!)

Bad MCOR?

Thanks!

Try pressing on the go pedal 25-30 times fast key off...Drive it and see if it makes a difference..That's one way to tell if the mcor is the problem...

Tried that and it didn't seem to make any difference at all - Thanks!

This was definitely something that just popped up out of the blue - in fact, it happened while I was in the middle of a little trip to the beach!

Then your is just worn out and not oxidized/or coated like some get. It is all within the action of the MCOR, then it can only be the potentiometer unless you have a gremlin in the kremlin...

If you would like to test the signal, I will be glad to provide you the testing parameters. The most important thing is buy you a quality OEM replacement and not a Chinese Amazon/eBay clone that are notorious for being short-lived or bad out the box. https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/mcors

So look for the ones Made In Mexico, not China?

Update: Noticed cast in the housing is "ITW Switches" with the Mexico sticker.

So on the same day the MCOR goes bad I receive my Alltrax install kit from Dave at Revolution Golf Cars. Arghhhh!

What do you guys think ... go ahead and install it before I replace the MCOR? Might be a couple of weeks before I can get a new MCOR.
