Brake adjustment
Hey all. I replaced the shoes on my club car. After running the top adjuster screw all the way out the drum barely slid over the new shoes. I did loosen the adj rod by the pedal. Is there no lower adjustment at the cable/ lever? They are correct shoes. Match originals. Also, thanks for the v-glide help. Found bad connection. I also am asking how to add some lights. Anyone have any idea on the connections for them? Thanks again.

Re: Brake adjustment
What I have seen on your model is most people have put the wrong brake shoes on . I know you said you put the right ones on, but lets make sure.
You put J10 brake shoes on right? If you have a part number, post that |

Re: Brake adjustment
I don’t know the parts “name”... but there should be some wedge shaped parts that go in between the adjuster and the “fin” of the brake shoes. Without them, the adjuster will never push out far enough. If they are in there, then you most likely have the wrong shoes.
