1983 golf cart charging
Is it Bad to take golf cart off charger when it's not done charging

As long as you stay above 50 % state of charge, you should be OK to take it off charge and use it. Just put it back on charge when you can and let it get a complete charge. The closer you can keep the battery pack to full charge the better .

If you have a LED Bargraph type SoC meter, a partial charge might confuse it until the next time the batteries are fully charged, but other than that, a little bit is better than none at all. If you haven't done so already, read everything with the word "Battery" in the title on scottyb's website. Lots of good info there. http://www.cartsunlimited.net/ |
