Ezgo Txt Electric Problem
2007 Ezgo txt. I replaced all batteries after the cart would not move. I have good charge.I connected bl+ and bl- under control cover got 40.5 dc. Then did bl- with bolt on sylonoid closest to batteries got 41. Then did the otherside got 40. Then i did a jumper wire from bl+ to same bolt closest to batteries on syloniod and the cart responded by excellerating normally. Any idea what part to replace. Thank you in advance

Re: Ezgo Txt Electric Problem
Your solenoid is not activating (no clicking noise)? You need to trace out the solenoid activation circuit... If the activation circuit is complete when you press the gas, then the solenoid may be bad... 9 times out of 10 it is in the activation circuit not the solenoid.
Is it a series or PDS cart? |

Re: Ezgo Txt Electric Problem
its a pds. When i push the gas pedal i do hear a clicking noice but not out of the silinoid area the click comes from the pedal area like a spring noise. It seems like you know what my problem is, but i know very little about this stuff. Could you possibly specifically tell me what you would replace if it was you cart. Thanks

Re: Ezgo Txt Electric Problem
Trouble shoot the solenoid activation circuit. that will tell where the problem is. Here is the circuit...
PDS solenoid activation Power starts on the White wire on the 36+ of the battery pack. Power travels to the charger receptacle, goes through a reed switch inside the receptacle and comes out on the red 12 gauge red wire. The red wire travels back through the loom into controller molex connector at pin 4, out of pin9 to the keyswitch and back in pin 8, out pin 1 to the directional toggle switch & back in pin 3 or 4. Finally coming out pin 7 to positive side of the solenoid activation circuit. (yellow) The negative side of the solenoid activation circuit is out of pin #6 (blue) The peddle micro switch is a separate control circuit at controller plug J4 basically red to switch and green back. The Run/Tow switch is also a separate control circuit. |

Re: Ezgo Txt Electric Problem
Thank you for your help. After 20 hrs of staring at the electric and a wasted 1000 dollars later i discovered that below the tow run switch is another switch that was in the off position. You free help was greatly appreciated
