------- 12" vs. 10" wheel upgrade
Fellas,
I have a 2000.5 Club Car electric DS with factory 8" wheels non-lifted. I want to upgrade to 10" or 12" wheel size. I'm worried that the 12" wheels will "rub" when turning sharply. Have any of you seen this as a problem??? Is wheel "offset" affect this at all? |

I would think the rubbing would be more of a tire size issue than wheel size.

Actually I think with a 12 inch rim they don't make a skinny enough tire not to rub

I run 12" low profiles on my non-lifted 06 DS with no problems . . .

Re: ------- 12" vs. 10" wheel upgrade
I've done this on carts without lifts with 12" wheels and low profile tires. I believe the max tire height without a lift should be 20". That's a function of the tire, not the wheel size. The 12" rims looks a lot better with the low profile tires in my opinion.

Re: ------- 12" vs. 10" wheel upgrade
12" wheels with low pro tire ride a lot rougher than a 10" wheel and tire combo.
Just something to consider..... |
