4-12 Volt Batteries

I now have the setup in two carts - 06 and 07 precedent. Both are golf course retirees. The 07 I just bought and it has 2012 Trojans in it and the light kit is hooked to battery 4. It will be used on a daily basis a lot less than the 06, which I just put new Trojans in last year. The previous set went 5 years and most of those were golf course use prior to me buying it. When I first put lights on the 06, I used the battery 4 setup. But then I added a radio and they just wouldn't last long enough before the lights would dim and the radio would cut off everytime we hit the pedal. Converted to a dedicated accessory battery in the bag well. My son uses that cart and rides all night long with lights on and music playing and it goes as long as he needs it to. So as long as it works for our needs, I am not going to take the time and expense to convert them.
