Default Which aftermarket charger?

I've got a '98 DS (48 volt) that I purchased recently, but didn't come with a charger. I've been getting by with two 24v chargers and splitting the battery pack. Needless to say, aside from it not being the correct way to properly maintain expensive batteries, it's a pain in the butt to charge. I've pretty much been convinced that the factory charger is not the best option due to the fact that charger technology has improved since this thing was built. Who's using an aftermarket charger, what brand is it, and are you happy with it?

DPI chargers are the best in my opinion. Battery selectable.

The OBC system is actually very good and is still used today, but I think DPIs have a float mode, which is good

I hope to upgrade to 48 volts someday down the road with my cart, and when I do I'll be going with a DPI charger.

Question, If you get a DPI charger, do you still need the OBC?
