stronger springs
After installing a 6" jakes lift and 22" tires my 06 cc ds seems to be a little bit top heavy.
I'm wandering if I put stronger springs on, it would stabilize it?? If so, what size and kind would you all suggest going to? |

Re: stronger springs
You raised the center of gravity of the cart with the lift and tires. It will be more "tippy". If you have a rear seat (with the lift), it will definitely be more tippy with passengers on board. Sharp maneuvers and quick turns can result in a rollover. I have heavy duty rear leaf springs and the cart still rolled (**** dog).
You will need to adjust your driving habits by slowing down around corners and avoiding sharp jerky movements. It's a golf cart with rudimentary suspension, not a sports car. Just sayin'. |
