48V Club Car New Motor not moving
Hi Guys,
I have a car that's giving me issues, installed new motor, and it's giving me the motor stall fault on the handheld. Solenoid clicks on, you hear the controller humm, but that's all. Battery voltage is good, what else could it be? I'm stumped. Thank you for your help! |

Was the motor free when you installed it?Did it go in easy? Usually a humm, error code stall makes me think motor in in a bind. What is the Pack voltage?

Yes it was, went in pretty easy. Pack voltage is 46 volts currently.

If the cart will roll freely it should not be in a bind..

Rolls freely, both wheels. On the charger currently holding at 10amps.

Batteries aren't dead though, charger dropped down to 5amps. Still motor stall. Wheels are off, both turn freely.

Somewhere around here a a way to test the motor.
Can you measure the voltage from the controller to the motor with the go pedal down and with no pedal? See if you get full voltage to the motor. |
