Default Late model 2012 villager 4

So I'm entering the world of golf carts tomorrow. Picking up a used 2012 late model Precedent Villager 4 from a club car AD in My area.

Features they said were worth the extra $200 over the " off the course " model with aftermarket rear seat and lights

1) monsoon xl roof w/radio & speaker mounting areas
2)factory light
3) upgraded 2013 batteries
4)on board charging

Plus they would set it on speed code 3 for me.

Picked it up for $3400

Did I do ok?

I found some converted precedent 4 seaters in my area in the 2010-2012 yr range for 2900-3200

I would try and talk speed code 4 out of him or pay to have it done now. That would give you 19.5 as top speed as opposed to 14 mph with code 3. What will your use for the cart be, the golf course or street legal. Yes it sounds like a deal to me.

Mainly just around the neighborhood. Yes I should have paid the extra for speed code 4. The dealer suggested I try it the way it is first. I'm seeing 14mph is pretty slow for a open rd and will have to take it up there before next spring. Might upgrade the tires/wheels as well.
