TXT winch mount, no info?
so ive been searching threads here at BGW and ive yet to see a write up or anything for a txt winch install?
ive seen a post about the jakes mount being flimsy, ive seen plenty of posrts about home made mounts, ive seen jakes winch mount test, but cant find any real info. I want to put a winch on my txt and it will have a spindle lift. Does anybody know my options? it will be a 2500lb badlands winch, I want the mount to be sturdy and I would like a pre made mount. Harbor freight sells the winch mount there but where would I bolt it or weld it to? |

Ez_Go sells a couple of mounts but it depends on what axle you have..

Well that narrows it down.. What year ? square tube? elongated tube? drop ?

Grizzly metal works has some awesome heavy duty brush guards with winch plate.

ok let me ask this, do most winch plates go on the front axle or the roof struts? I have a winch plate I can weld to the front axle if that's the case
