Default Alignment issue 86 Marathon

I have searched and can't the answer to this.

My front wheels do not point straight. There is lots of info in the manual for toe-in but I can't find anything on how to get both wheels pointing straight.

Is it as simple as just adjusting the tie rods until it looks straight?

Jack it up.
Mark each front wheel in one spot with a fine line. Small v works best.
Take a tape or yard stick that has the smallest increments you can find. 1/16 or 1/8 inch.
Measure that distance between the marks with both marks far forward at a 90 to the ground.
Rotate the wheels to the opposite side still at 90 from the ground.
Front back side of wheel same marks same height from ground.
Adjust your tie rod ends till the distance when forward and back are the same or near as the same as you can get.
Remeasure and test drive.
Trucks usually do better with a 1/16 inch inward toe.
1/16 smaller width in front then rear.
Should be good for the cart Works on quads well.

Thanks

Just to make sure I followed this, I want to mark the "inside" of the "wheels" and I ultimately want the span between the front of the wheels to be 1/16 less than the span between the back of the wheels?

Ummmmm.....I am usually pretty smart (unless we're talking about my choice of women) but I just realized that I was looking at the manual wrong. The above is exactly what it says...........duh...............
